3.5 Analiza planului de invatamant specializarii Medii Virtuale Multi-Modale Distribuite

3.5.1. Universitatea Ovidius din Constanta (UOC)

Repartitia disciplinelor in planul de invatamant pentru programul de studiu Medii Virtuale Multi-Modale Distribuite, valabil incepand cu anul universitar 2013-2014 din cadrul Facultatii de Matematica si Informatica (FMI), Universitatea Ovidius din Constanta (vezi pe DVD Univ Ovidius Cta/MVMOD).

Anul I:

  • Recunoasterea formelor si cautarea de date in spatiul WEB
  • Redactarea articoleleor de inalta clasa stiintifica (managementul proiectelor)
  • Redactarea lucrarii de dizertatie

Observatie. Inainte de a incepe compararea acestui program de studiu cu unul similar din UE, trebuie sa precizam ca nu am gasit un astfel de program de studiu la master la noi in tara. Asadar, existenta unui astfel de program la Univ. Ovidius adauga un plus de valoare FMI-ului pe plan national.

De remarcat ca la o simpla cautare pe Google a sintagmei “virtual reality master program”, vom primi foarte multe rezultate pentru programe din SUA cu precadere (unde domeniul este foarte activ si care produce la ora actuala tehnologii disruptive), dar si in Europa (noi suntem interesati de universitati din UE).

O alta observatie este faptul ca in universitatile din afara Romaniei este o alta politica in ceea ce priveste organizarea unui master.

exista un trunchi comun de cursuri, dupa care exista mai multe directii de specializare

Ne vom compara cu programul Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality. Ca si structura, avem informatiile urmatoare.

Concluzii. De remarcat pentru aceasta comparatie cu programul de master de aici ca sunt diferente semnificative fata de planul nostru de invatamant, mai ales din punct de vedere al ofertei educationale.

Concluzii. De remarcat ca programul de la facultatea noastra este foarte asemanator cu cel oferit de cei de la Brest, pe partea de Human interaction.

Ca si concluzie finala, putem spune ca programul de la noi urmeaza, in mare, linia “europeana” (cu precadere cea de la Brest), insa se pot face unele modificari in sensul de:  ori o diversificare a ofertei de discipline optionale ori chiar a ajustarii continutului unor cursuri deja cuprinse in planul de invatamant. Astfel, se poate avea in vedere introducerea unui optional de Machine Learning, Massive Data Mining, Indexing and visualisation of multidimensional data etc.
